Recently I was lucky enough to become familiar with the Blue Marbles Project. The best part was I did not read about it online or hear about it on a podcast, I got to witness the passing of a blue marble, first hand.

I tugged the blue marble under the wrist in my wet-suit. This site was so beautiful – unlike any other reef I had visited in the D.R. My mom always said the ocean was my first love, so there I was, in bliss.
